BLAST SLAM VIII Matches Today: October 1 Schedule

BLAST SLAM VIII continues today with four Best-of-3 series. The online group stage features 16 teams divided into four GSL groups, while only six participants will reach the LAN Finals in Malta. The tournament has a combined prize pool of $750,000.

October 1 Match Schedule

• 13:00 UTC: MOUZ vs OG
• 13:00 UTC: Team Yandex vs BetBoom Team
• 16:00 UTC: Aurora vs Team Liquid
• 16:00 UTC: GamerLegion vs Yakult’s Brothers

All four matchups are listed on the official BLAST schedule.

Match of the Day: Team Yandex vs BetBoom Team

Team Yandex enter the series after winning PGL Wallachia Season 9, but BetBoom remain one of the most dangerous opponents in the group. A recent trophy makes Yandex the obvious name to trust, yet the draft and current form could make the prediction much closer than their status suggests.

Aurora vs Team Liquid is another key matchup. With both teams fighting for a stronger position in the group, every draft decision could significantly change the pre-match prediction.

BLAST SLAM VIII uses BO3 series throughout the online stage, reducing the impact of a single failed draft. The group stage runs until October 3, followed by the LAN Finals in Malta from October 8 to 11.
