ENVY Returns to CS2 With Former 3DMAX Roster

ENVY have officially returned to Counter-Strike by signing the complete former 3DMAX lineup. The American organization is back in the game after almost six years away, while the French roster continues its season under one of the most recognizable tags in CS history.

Former 3DMAX Roster Joins ENVY

The lineup remains unchanged:

• Bryan «Maka» Canda
• Lucas «Lucky» Chastang
• Kévin «misutaaa» Rabier
• Filip «Graviti» Brankovic
• Jeremy «Kursy» Gast

For the players, this is a change of organization rather than a rebuild. ENVY inherit an established French roster with existing chemistry, recent trophies and a realistic chance of reaching the next Major.

ENVY Return at the Perfect Moment

The former 3DMAX squad enter their new chapter in strong form. In September, they won NODWIN Clutch Series 11 and Logitech G Play Connect, defeating Luminosity 3:2 in a seven-hour grand final.

Those results moved the roster to 21st place in the global Valve Regional Standings and kept them in contention for an invitation to PGL Major Singapore.

ENVY are expected to debut at Stake Pulse Beat III, which begins on October 12. DraculaN Season 7 will provide another opportunity to collect valuable VRS points before the Major invitation cutoff.

A Familiar Name Returns to French Counter-Strike

ENVY’s return carries historical weight. The organization won the DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca Major in 2015 with a French lineup and previously represented players such as kennyS, apEX and NBK-.

The logo has changed, but the immediate objective is clear: preserve the former 3DMAX roster’s momentum and secure a place at PGL Major Singapore.

A famous tag can change expectations, but it cannot change current form, map pools or matchups.
