Four undefeated teams collide: CCT Europe Series 9 matches for September 18

Eight teams enter the day with perfect 1-0 records, but only four will remain undefeated. Four BO3 matches from the upper pool of the CCT 2026 Europe Series 9 Swiss stage will be played on September 18.

All four series will be played in the BO3 format. The winners will move to a 2-0 record and come within one victory of reaching the playoffs, while the losing teams will drop into the 1-1 pool.

G2 Ares produced the strongest opening result

G2 Ares had the most convincing start among today’s participants, defeating Azuolas 2-0 with a 32:20 round score.

Leo needed three maps to overcome Bushido Wildcats, while QUAZAR and NAVI Junior also opened their campaigns with 2-1 victories. NAVI Junior won their series against Just Players despite finishing with a negative round difference of 43:45.

Black Phoenix, Lavked and BAKS did not drop a map in their opening matches. Black Phoenix defeated ENCE, Lavked beat Honvéd and BAKS secured a 2-0 victory over Spirit Academy. Ex-RUSTEC completed today’s undefeated group after beating Nexus 2-1.

CCT 2026 Europe Series 9 runs online from September 15 to 27. The tournament features 24 teams and a $25,000 prize pool. The group stage uses the Swiss format, followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket.
