Team Falcons leave Dota 2 and release TI-winning roster

Team Falcons have officially ended their participation in competitive Dota 2 and released their entire roster.

The organization described the decision as part of a strategic review of its esports portfolio. Falcons will shift resources toward ecosystems that offer stronger long-term alignment and operational sustainability. No plans for a replacement roster were announced in the official statement.

The end of a historic roster

The former Falcons lineup included:

Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak
Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf
Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen
Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu
Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling, coach

The core had played together without a single roster change since November 2023. During that run, Falcons won more than ten tournaments, including ESL One Birmingham 2024 and The International 2025. Escorenews also reported that Aui_2000 has retired, while Cr1t- is considering ending his professional career.

The future of the five players remains uncertain. Any new lineups involving them will need to be evaluated as fresh projects rather than direct continuations of Falcons historic results.
