Abed

Abed Azel Limpasan Yusop, better known as Abed, is a Filipino Dota 2 midlaner born on August 3, 2000. His career is defined by a rare combination of elite matchmaking records and years of competition at the highest level.

Abed first attracted international attention with Execration. At The International 2016 Wild Card, his Meepo went 18–0 against compLexity Gaming — an early glimpse of the mechanical skill that would become his trademark. Then came the records. On June 25, 2017, Abed became the first Dota 2 player to reach 10,000 solo MMR. In May 2020, he raised the ceiling again by becoming the first player to reach 11,000 MMR.

His career has taken him through Digital Chaos, Fnatic, Evil Geniuses, Shopify Rebellion, Blacklist International, Aurora Gaming, MOUZ and Virtus.pro. With Evil Geniuses, he finished second at both the ONE Esports Singapore Major and WePlay AniMajor in 2021. He later reached the DreamLeague Season 21 final with Shopify Rebellion, won the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 with Blacklist International and, as a PlayTime stand-in, helped win Games of the Future 2026.

Known early in his career for heroes such as Meepo and Invoker, Abed became one of Southeast Asia’s most recognizable midlaners. His tracked tournament winnings now sit at roughly $1 million.
