The opening matchups for ESL Pro League Season 24 have been confirmed. Sixteen CS2 teams will compete in Katowice from October 3 to 11 for eight playoff spots and $1 million in total winnings.

G2 vs NAVI is the standout match of the opening round. Neither team received an easy path, while Spirit and Vitality enter the tournament against the two lowest seeds.

The seeding was created by the teams themselves. Every participant ranked the other opponents, then ESL calculated the average after removing outliers. Spirit received the first seed, while Vitality and Aurora moved higher than their VRS positions.

Tournament Format

All ESL Pro League Season 24 matches will be played on LAN. The group stage uses a 16-team Swiss system, with every series played as a BO3.

Three victories secure a playoff place, while three defeats eliminate a team. The eight remaining teams will advance to the single-elimination playoffs at the Spodek Arena from October 9 to 11. The grand final will be played as a BO5.
