LGD to compete at BLAST Slam VII with former Heroic roster

LGD Gaming will return to the professional Dota 2 scene at BLAST Slam VII. The organization will be represented by the ex-Heroic roster, according to information published by the tournament organizers.

The lineup includes Yuma Langlet, Santiago TaiLung Aguero Gustavo, Adrián Wisper Céspedes Dobles, Thiago Thiolicor Cordeiro, and Matheus KJ Diniz. Igor kaffs Furtado will coach the roster.

The same players previously competed under the Heroic tag before the organization left the discipline in May 2026. For LGD, this marks a return after a long break: the club’s previous roster disbanded in September 2024, and the tag had not appeared on the professional Dota 2 scene since then.

BLAST Slam VII will take place from May 26 to June 7 online and on LAN in Denmark. The event will feature 12 teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool. All predictions for the tournament’s matches are available on Winio, with our predictions for 13 out of 16 tier-one tournaments correct so far.
