Winio Reaches 94.4% Accuracy on Tier-1 Dota 2 Matches

Winio’s prediction model reached 94.4% accuracy on Tier-1 Dota 2 matches over the last 30 days, the strongest result across the current tournament-level sample.

Across all Dota 2 matches during the same period, the model generated 122 predictions, with 99 correct calls for an overall accuracy of 81.2%.

Tier-1 Results Stand Out

The difference between tournament levels is significant:

  • Tier-1 - 94.4%
  • Tier-2/3 - 73.7%
  • All Dota 2 matches - 81.2%

That puts the Tier-1 result more than 20 percentage points above Tier-2/3 in the current 30-day sample.

One possible reason is data quality and stability. Top-level teams generally have more official matches, more consistent rosters and clearer form trends, giving the model a stronger dataset to work with when estimating win probabilities.

At the same time, 94.4% reflects a specific 30-day sample, it is not a guaranteed accuracy rate for future predictions. The number will continue to change as new matches are played and fresh data enters the model.
