PGL Wallachia matches today: schedule and predictions

3 min readWinio Team

Eight BO3 series, four starting times and almost no reliable baseline for a prediction. PGL Wallachia Season 9 begins today, September 19, at the PGL Studios in Bucharest.

The opening round will be the first official test for several post-TI rosters. Patch 7.41f adds another variable, making every early match prediction more difficult than usual.

PGL Wallachia Season 9 matches on September 19

07:00 UTC | 1win vs Team Nemesis
07:00 UTC | Xtreme Gaming vs Pibbles Corp
10:00 UTC | Conventus Stellarum vs PlayTime
10:00 UTC | Natus Vincere vs Hokori
13:00 UTC | Aurora Gaming vs Pipsqueak+4
13:00 UTC | GamerLegion vs Team Cobra
16:00 UTC | Team Yandex vs MOUZ
16:00 UTC | LGD Gaming vs Yakult Brothers

All eight series will be played as BO3.

Team Yandex vs MOUZ is the match of the day

Team Yandex arrive with a new roster featuring watson, Chira_Junior, ATF, Saksa and Malady. On paper, their individual quality makes them one of the leading title contenders, but any prediction must account for limited official data from this lineup.

MOUZ have fewer star names but could benefit from stronger coordination. Their opening match will show whether Team Yandex can immediately convert roster potential into results.

Why today’s predictions are difficult

Several teams will compete with new players or temporary replacements. 1win will use Shad instead of Pure, Aurora Gaming will play with Stojkov in the mid lane, while Team Nemesis have also made two changes before the event.

That makes recent team statistics less useful for a conventional match prediction. Individual form, draft adaptation and the speed at which each roster builds chemistry may matter more than results from the previous season.

The first round should provide valuable data for future PGL Wallachia Season 9 predictions. Team Yandex, Aurora Gaming, Xtreme Gaming and 1win begin the event among the main contenders, but the gap between reputation and current form remains unknown.

The tournament will run from September 19 to 27. Sixteen teams will compete through a Swiss stage and double-elimination playoffs for a $1 million prize pool.
