The Counter-Strike 2 Workshop contains tens of thousands of community-made maps, but not all of them are suitable for serious practice. Some were originally built for CS:GO, some have not been updated in years, and others train mechanics that offer little value in real matches.

●       give bots armor and helmets;

●       open or close individual sections of the arena;

●       practice peeking from behind walls;

●       enable infinite ammunition;

●       select any weapon;

●       shoot targets across a full 360-degree arena.

Who Is Aim Botz Best For?

For beginners, the map helps build comfort with mouse sensitivity and crosshair height. More experienced players can use it for a short warm-up before Premier or FACEIT.

Aim Botz should not become your only form of practice. The bots operate in a predictable environment, so the map is excellent for mechanics but offers little practice in reading enemy positions.

The map has more than 5.7 million subscribers, but it was last updated in May 2024. Aim_Rush remains a useful alternative to Aim Botz, although it is not one of the most actively maintained Workshop projects.

The map displays a moving guide called the ghosthair on the wall. Follow it with your crosshair to compensate for the selected weapon's recoil. The map supports the AK-47, M4A4, M4A1-S, Galil, FAMAS, most submachine guns and several other weapons.

Only Up! is useful for:

●       competing with friends.

The direct transfer to Premier is limited. This is primarily a difficult parkour map rather than a competitive training tool.

Mirage Parkour - Parkour on a Familiar Map

Mirage Parkour opens rooftops and rooms that are inaccessible in a normal match. The creator added new crates, ladders, pipes, passages and obstacles, turning the standard Mirage layout into an open parkour course.

Its main advantage is the familiar geometry. Players can practice movement while developing a better understanding of how objects are positioned across Mirage.

However, the project has been updated only once, in September 2024, and offers fewer modes and less active support than Movement Hub.

It is best used for entertainment, map exploration and casual jump practice.

How to Install a CS2 Workshop Map

1. Open the map's page in the Steam Workshop.
2. Click Subscribe.
3. Wait for the files to finish downloading.
4. Restart CS2 if the map does not appear immediately.
5. Open the game menu and go to the Workshop Maps section.
6. Select the downloaded map and start a local session.

Steam automatically downloads maps after you subscribe to them. Many creators also warn that the game may need to be restarted before a newly subscribed map appears.

Some maps can also be launched with the following command:
