A ban wave hits bots in CS2

Counter-Strike 2 has seen its largest wave of account bans in recent years, affecting nearly one million players. The mass bans targeted cheaters, bot farms used for case farming, and other rule violations.
A Valve developer confirmed that 960,000 accounts were banned and thanked the community for assisting in the investigation.
The bots were reportedly used to farm weekly skins, which players can earn for free by gaining a certain amount of in-game experience.
