BC.Game Win Their First Tournament With the New Roster — EWC 2026 Qualifier Comes Next

3 min readWinio Team

BC.Game won Elisa Esports Breakout Series 1 in their first tournament following a major roster overhaul. In the grand final, s1mple and company defeated ENCE 2:0.

The victory offered the first evidence that BC.Game’s star-studded lineup, led by Magisk, can quickly develop into a functioning system. Still, seven maps provide too little data to draw conclusions about the team’s long-term consistency.

BC.Game Complete an Undefeated Run

BC.Game debuted their new lineup at Elisa Esports Breakout Series 1 with Magisk, s1mple, electroNic, Senzu and mzinho.

The result moved the international roster up to 84th place in the Valve Regional Standings. Following the rebuild, BC.Game effectively had to start from scratch and entered the tournament ranked only 150th.

Senzu Leads the Way

Mongolian talent Senzu was BC.Game’s highest-rated player at the tournament. He finished the seven-map run with an average rating of 1.48, immediately establishing himself as one of the roster’s main sources of firepower.

The 19-year-old mzinho also played a key role in the grand final, recording a 1.39 rating, while Oleksandr s1mple Kostyliev finished the series with a 1.12 rating.

Why One Trophy Is Not Enough

Elisa Esports Breakout Series provided the first meaningful data on the new BC.Game roster, but the sample remains limited.

Seven maps are not enough to properly assess the depth and consistency of the team’s map pool, its ability to adapt during a longer tournament or its performance under serious pressure.

Winio records a strong start without turning the first sample into an established trend. The next tournament will show whether this was sustainable form or simply the honeymoon period of a new roster.

The EWC Qualifier Will Be the Real Test

From August 7 to 9, BC.Game will compete in the open qualifier for the Esports World Cup 2026.

Up to 128 teams can enter the qualifier, but only four will advance to the main event. The list of expected opponents includes Liquid, BIG, HEROIC and 100 Thieves.

The level of competition will be significantly higher, and one poor series could leave BC.Game outside a tournament with a $2 million prize pool.
