Falcons vs G2: a Cologne rematch

NiKo and huNter- meet again as Falcons and G2 revisit their Stage 3 opening matchup from the IEM Cologne Major 2026. This time, the winner earns a semifinal against Spirit.

G2’s route to Porto nearly ended against Aurora. After losing the opening map, they survived two match points on Inferno before forcing a decider. On Mirage, G2 lost the opening pistol round, then won 13 consecutive rounds to complete a 13:1 map victory and take the series 2:1.

FURIA vs Vitality: can the recovery continue?

Vitality opened the tournament with a 0:2 loss to Inner Circle, then recovered through wins over 9z, Legacy and FUT. Their playoff qualification match ended 2:0, with apEX averaging 101.7 damage per round. The team is competing with jL as a stand-in.

FURIA reached their group’s upper-bracket final but lost to Spirit, missing out on direct semifinal qualification. The winner of FURIA vs Vitality will face MOUZ.
