Dust2 and Mirage Account for Nearly Half of Tier-1 CS2 Maps in 2026
Ahead of EWC 2026, Winio analyzed every map played at completed tier-1 tournaments during the 2026 season. Nearly half of the entire sample came from just two maps: Dust2 and Mirage.
Teams played 946 maps across the current competitive pool. Dust2 and Mirage accounted for 450 of them - 47.6% of the total.
This gives teams and analysts a substantial amount of data on the two most popular maps. Cache sits at the opposite end of the spectrum: it has appeared only once at a completed tier-1 event, making it the biggest unknown heading into EWC.

To identify the strongest team on each map, we used a minimum sample of eight maps. Cache is the only exception because it has been played just once at a completed tier-1 tournament.
FaZe defeated Spirit on Cache at BLAST Bounty, but a single result is not enough to establish a genuine season leader.
