RED Canids disbanded its CS2 roster
The Brazilian organization moved all players and the coaching staff to the bench. The roster members are now open to offers from other clubs, while RED Canids’ future in the discipline remains unclear. The team’s final event was IEM Rio 2026, where it finished 9th–12th after losing to Team Spirit.
CS2 received an update with Animgraph 2 bug fixes
Valve released a small update of around 106 MB focused on fixing issues that appeared after the animation update. The patch addressed bugs with Dual Berettas, XM1014, bomb-planting animations, leg movement, and a random launch crash linked to non-standard audio device settings.
BCGame delayed its new player announcement
Club CEO Ali “akofocus” Mohanned said the reveal had to be postponed by two days because of the player’s travel schedule. Earlier, he teased that the newcomer had been a top-10 player and had competed for the best team in the world, making the upcoming announcement even more intriguing.
