Esports Nations Cup Postponed from 2026 to November 2027

The inaugural Esports Nations Cup (ENC) has been postponed from November 2026 to November 2027. The national-team tournament is still expected to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Organizers said the decision followed an assessment of the regional situation and consultations with key partners. The additional year is intended to provide more certainty for national teams, publishers, players, and other parties involved in the first edition of ENC.

Unlike the club-based Esports World Cup, the Esports Nations Cup will see players compete for their countries and territories. The inaugural event is set to feature 16 esports titles, including Counter-Strike 2, VALORANT, and League of Legends.

What Happens to the ENC Qualifiers?

The postponement leaves questions around qualification and national rosters that have already been formed.
