Falcons Defeat Vitality 2:1 in IEM Rio 2026 Upper Bracket Final

Against all predictions, Team Falcons pulled off a stunning 2–1 victory over Vitality in the Group A upper bracket final at IEM Rio 2026, earning a direct berth to the playoff semifinals. Falcons secured wins on Mirage (13:10) and Nuke (16:14).

Falcons delivered an incredible performance on Nuke and once again ended Vitality’s winning streak. In the most crucial rounds of regulation, the team showed strong preparation and creative tactical approaches.

IEM Rio 2026 runs from April 13 to 19. Sixteen teams are competing for a $300,000 prize pool and the championship title. All matches except the grand final are played in a best-of-three format, while the final is best-of-five.
