Former NAVI Junior core overtakes NAVI in VRS ranking

The academy graduates are now above the main roster. Following their latest matches at Esports World Cup 2026, FUT climbed to fifth place in the preliminary VRS ranking, while NAVI dropped to eighth.

One victory changed the table

FUT swept MOUZ 2:0 in the EWC 2026 quarterfinal. Before the series, FUT had 1776 VRS points and occupied ninth place.

Beating the third ranked team earned FUT 83 points:

8. NAVI: 1816 points

FUT gained four positions from a single series.

One day earlier, NAVI lost 0:2 to Legacy. They fell 9:13 on Inferno and 2:13 on Ancient, lost 13 VRS points and dropped from sixth to eighth place.

A 182 point swing in 18 days

In Valve's official ranking on August 3, NAVI were sixth with 1802 points. FUT sat in fourteenth place with 1663.

The gap was 139 points in NAVI's favor.

Now FUT lead their former organization by 43 points. In less than three weeks, the difference between the teams shifted by a total of 182 VRS points.

The latest positions are based on the preliminary VRS calculation following the EWC matches. Valve publishes the official ranking in separate snapshots.

The academy that reached the top five

Four NAVI Junior players joined FUT in the summer of 2025: Krabeni, dem0n, cmtry and dziugss. Coach coolio followed them, while makazze was promoted to NAVI's main roster.

The current FUT lineup is not an exact copy of NAVI Junior, but its core remains intact.

NAVI selected one academy prospect for the main team. The rest continued together under FUT. One year later, the two branches have met again in the ranking, and the former academy core is higher.
