FUT Esports defeated Astralis in the grand final of PGL Bucharest 2026 and claimed their first major title. The team delivered a highly confident 3–1 victory in the best-of-five series, winning Ancient 13:5, Mirage 13:5, and Dust2 13:3, while only dropping Nuke in a closely contested 16:14 game.As we predicted, FUT Esports came into the final in peak form, having not lost a single series throughout the tournament and conceding only one map. Astralis were unable to find their game outside of Nuke and had to settle for second place.PGL Bucharest 2026 took place from April 4 to 11 in Bucharest, featuring a $625,000 prize pool. Sixteen teams competed in a Swiss-system format, and FUT Esports earned $200,000 for their first-place finish.
