G2 Esports defeated Astralis at BLAST Rivals Spring 2026
G2 opened the group stage with a 2–0 win over Astralis. The team took Dust2 13–5 and Overpass 13–9, setting up its next match against Team Vitality.
Vitality, G2, NAVI and GamerLegion won their opening BLAST Rivals matches
Team Vitality beat FUT Esports 2–1, G2 Esports defeated Astralis 2–0, NAVI took down FaZe Clan 2–0, and GamerLegion edged FURIA Esports 2–1. The event runs from April 29 to May 3 with eight teams competing for $350,000.
FUT ended Vitality’s Dust2 winning streak
Even though FUT Esports lost the series, the team beat Team Vitality 13–11 on one of the maps. For Vitality, it was the first loss since the match against Team Falcons on April 15, while before facing FUT the team had a 17-map winning streak.
Valve added Cache to CS2
Valve released an update that added Cache to Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch and Retakes. The patch also included changes for Dust2, Office, Stronghold, Poseidon, Animgraph 2 and several sound-related fixes.
