Magic defeated 3DMAX at Stake Ranked Episode 2

Magic defeated 3DMAX in the upper-bracket quarterfinal of Stake Ranked Episode 2 in CS2. The Bo3 match ended 2:0: the Russian team won Ancient 13:9 and then closed Inferno in overtime with a 19:15 scoreline.

For Magic, it was their debut match at the tournament, and the team immediately advanced further through the upper bracket. As we predicted, Magic were expected to put pressure on 3DMAX and use their chance against an opponent who dropped to the lower bracket after the loss, where their next match will be an elimination game.

After that, Magic will play in the upper-bracket semifinal on May 28 at 17:00 CEST against the winner of Alliance vs FaZe Clan. 3DMAX will face the loser of that matchup on the same day at 12:00 CEST in the first round of the lower bracket. Under the tournament format, teams continue the Double-elimination playoffs, with every match played in a best-of-3 format.
