MOUZ defeated M80 and stayed alive at CS Asia Championships 2026
MOUZ defeated M80 in the lower bracket of CS Asia Championships 2026 in CS2. The match ended with a 2:1 score: Justinas jL Lekavicius’ team won Overpass 13:3, lost Inferno 10:13, but closed the series with a dominant 13:2 win on Mirage.
M80 managed to extend the series after the second map, but on the deciding Mirage, MOUZ quickly regained control and gave their opponent no real chance to come back. As we predicted, MOUZ were expected to move forward despite the risk of a long series: the team had already beaten NRG in the first round of the lower bracket and kept that momentum in another elimination match.
MOUZ will now face paiN Gaming in the lower bracket semifinal. The match is scheduled for May 22 at 08:00 CEST. After the loss, M80 were eliminated from the tournament, while Team Falcons, Legacy, B8 Esports, and MIBR had already secured their playoff spots.
CS Asia Championships 2026 takes place from May 20 to 24 on LAN in Shanghai. Teams are competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool, with the event using an upper and lower bracket format. You can follow predictions for upcoming matches of CS Asia Championships 2026 and other tournaments on Winio!
