Liquid, 100 Thieves and BC.Game Reach EWC 2026 Playoffs
Liquid, 100 Thieves, BC.Game, BIG and HEROIC advanced to the EWC 2026 Open Qualifier playoffs. However, three headline teams landed in the same section of the bracket.
Virtus.pro have officially parted ways with Ilya Perfecto Zalutskiy, making the former NAVI player available as a free agent. His departure ends a difficult spell with the organization that began in June 2025.
Perfecto was removed from Virtus.pro active lineup in February 2026 after the team failed to produce consistent results. The organization placed him on the transfer list, stating that the existing roster could not fully realize its potential.
Perfecto joined VP after spending more than a year away from regular competition. He initially returned to his familiar support and anchor duties before later taking over as the team’s in-game leader.
The changes did not stabilize the roster. Virtus.pro opened 2026 with five consecutive series defeats, including early exits from BLAST Bounty and several lower-tier events.
However, judging Perfecto only by his individual statistics would ignore the demands of his role. Anchors are often responsible for holding difficult bombsites, using utility for teammates and surviving low-resource situations rather than producing the highest number of kills.
Perfecto still offers experience few available players can match. He won PGL Major Stockholm 2021 with NAVI, who became the first team to complete a CS:GO Major without losing a single map.
His next move will depend on more than past achievements. Potential teams will need to determine whether he should return exclusively to an anchor role, how much his individual form was affected by time on the bench and whether he can adapt to an international lineup.
