PGL Bucharest 2026 for CS2 kicks off on April 4

On April 4, 2026, the PGL Bucharest 2026 tournament for Counter-Strike 2 officially begins in Bucharest, featuring a prize pool of $625,000. Sixteen teams will compete — twelve received direct invites based on the Valve rankings, while the remaining four advanced through regional qualifiers.
The winner will take home $200,000, and the tournament will run until April 11. The group stage will use the Swiss system: teams must win three matches to advance to the playoffs or lose three to be eliminated. All matches will be best-of-three (Bo3), and the top eight teams will move on to the playoffs.
The playoffs will take place from April 9 to 11 in a single-elimination format. Quarterfinals, semifinals, and the third-place match will be Bo3, while the grand final will be best-of-five (Bo5).
