Team Spirit Reach BLAST Open Porto 2026 Semifinals

Team Spirit defeated FURIA 2-0 in the Group A upper bracket final and secured a direct place in the BLAST Open Porto 2026 semifinals. FURIA also reached the playoffs but will begin their run in the quarterfinals.

Six Maps Played, Six Maps Won

Spirit completed the group stage with a perfect 6-0 map record. The Dragons swept DENDELE, G2 and FURIA without allowing any opponent to take the series to a deciding map.

This result also gives Spirit additional preparation time and removes one elimination match from their playoff route.

Two Series Away From Another Trophy

Only one week has passed since Team Spirit won the Esports World Cup 2026. They now need to win the semifinal and a potential grand final to claim a second consecutive title.

The BLAST Open Porto playoffs will take place from September 4 to 6. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be played as best-of-three series, while the grand final will use a best-of-five format.
