Team Spirit will face Team Falcons in the semifinals of IEM Rio 2026 in CS2

Team Spirit confidently advanced to the semifinals of IEM Rio 2026 after defeating MOUZ 2–0 in the quarterfinals — 13:5 on Dust2 and 13:8 on Mirage. In the semifinal, the Russian squad led by Boris “magixx” Vorobyev will play against Team Falcons on April 18 at 18:00 MSK.

The teams have already met in the group stage: Falcons defeated Spirit 2–0 (13:4 on Anubis and 13:5 on Mirage), securing a spot in the playoffs through the upper bracket. Spirit continued their run through the lower bracket of Group A, where they beat G2 and RED Canids, while Falcons overcame Vitality in the upper bracket final.

IEM Rio 2026 is taking place from April 13 to 19 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a $300,000 prize pool. The semifinals are single-elimination, and the grand final is a best-of-five series; Falcons and Spirit will battle for a spot in the final. MOUZ finished in 5th–6th place and earned $12,500.
