The BLAST Open Porto 2026 group stage concluded on August 31 with four decisive matches. Spirit and MOUZ earned direct semifinal spots, while G2 and Vitality secured the final two places in the quarterfinals.

Both three-map series produced reverse sweeps. G2 and MOUZ lost the opening maps before winning the next two. MOUZ were particularly convincing after their 6-13 defeat on Nuke, allowing Falcons only nine rounds across Ancient and Inferno.
Spirit Complete a Perfect Group Stage
Spirit finished the group stage with a flawless 6-0 map record. Their victory over FURIA on Ancient and Cache sent them directly to the semifinals, while the Brazilian team moved into the quarterfinals.
The result leaves Spirit only two series away from a second consecutive trophy following their Esports World Cup 2026 title.
G2 moved one map away from elimination after losing Aurora’s Anubis pick. They recovered with a 19-16 overtime victory on Inferno before dominating the Mirage decider 13-1.
Vitality faced less resistance in the second lower bracket final. They defeated FUT in straight maps to book the final available playoff place.
