Vitality crushed FURIA 2–0 and advanced to the IEM Rio 2026 final

As predicted, Vitality confidently defeated FURIA in the semifinals of IEM Rio 2026 with a 2–0 scoreline to secure a spot in the grand final. The French side dominated on Overpass (13:10) and Ancient (13:9), leaving the Brazilians with no chance to mount a comeback.

In the final, they will face Spirit, who beat Falcons in the parallel semifinal. Falcons will take on FURIA in the third-place match, which will be played before the grand final.

IEM Rio 2026 is taking place from April 13 to 19 at Farmasi Arena. Six teams are competing in the playoffs for the trophy in a single-elimination format: quarterfinals and semifinals are best-of-three, while the grand final is best-of-five. The winner will receive $100,000.
