Three sweeps, one decider and an upset few expected.

The second day of BLAST Open Porto 2026 saw Inner Circle defeat Vitality without dropping a map, while Falcons needed a ten-round comeback to escape Lynn Vision.

All four winners advanced through the Group B upper bracket. Vitality, 9z, FUT and Lynn Vision will continue their tournament runs in the lower bracket.

Inner Circle Turn Vitality’s Opener Into the Upset of the Day

Vitality entered the series with jL replacing mezii, but the changed lineup was only part of the story.

Inner Circle won their Anubis pick 13-8 and then defeated Vitality on Cache, the favorite’s own choice. The second map reached overtime, where Inner Circle won four of the five additional rounds to complete the 2-0 sweep.

cptkurtka023 delivered the best performance on the server with a 1.58 rating. headtr1ck followed with 1.37, while ZywOo finished as Vitality’s lowest-rated player at 0.78.

MOUZ Concede Only 11 Rounds

MOUZ produced the most dominant result of the day.

They opened Cache with an 11-1 half before closing the map 13-4. Their control continued on Nuke, where 9z managed only seven rounds.

Across the entire BO3, MOUZ won 26 rounds and conceded just 11.

Legacy Stop the EWC Finalists

Legacy also secured a 2-0 victory, although FUT pushed both maps to the closing rounds.

The Brazilian side won Ancient 13-10 and Dust2 13-11. latto ended the series in style with an ace in the final round, while try led Legacy with a 1.31 rating across both maps.

Falcons Recover From 3-9 on Dust2

Lynn Vision were the only losing team to take a map on August 27.

After trading Inferno and Ancient, the Chinese roster built a 9-3 lead on the deciding Dust2. Falcons responded by winning all ten rounds after switching sides, completing the comeback at 13-9.

m0NESY finished the series with 58 kills and a 1.64 rating.

Inner Circle victory was another reminder that reputation does not win rounds. Current form, map pools, roster changes and the actual matchup matter more than the logo beside a team’s name.
