At DreamLeague Season 29, PARIVISION beat NAVI 2–0, BetBoom Team took down PlayTime 2–1, and REKONIX upset Tundra Esports 2–0. Later in the group stage, Team Spirit, Team Falcons and Aurora Gaming also picked up wins.

Heroic lost its EWC slot

Heroic was removed from the Esports World Cup 2026 partner program after closing its Dota 2 division. The program can provide clubs with up to $1 million for development and promotion, but Heroic no longer met the participation requirements after internal changes.

Xtreme’s early GG

Xtreme Gaming surrendered the first map against Nigma Galaxy around the 31nd minute despite not losing a single tier-three tower. Fng called the decision a “huge disgrace,” while sQreen argued that early GG calls should be restricted or banned at tournaments.
