PARIVISION win EWC 2026 after taking control of the final against BetBoom
PARIVISION became the Dota 2 champions of Esports World Cup 2026 after defeating BetBoom Team 3–1 in the grand final. BetBoom won the opening map, but PARIVISION responded with three consecutive victories and finished the tournament with a 16–3 map record.
The final was not decided by an immediate collapse from BetBoom. They controlled the first game and closed it in just under 48 minutes with an 18–10 kill score. PARIVISION needed a full reset rather than a small adjustment.
The second map became the turning point. It lasted 62 minutes, produced 61 combined kills and forced both teams through the longest and least stable game state of the series. PARIVISION won it 34–27, levelled the final and prevented BetBoom from building on their opening advantage.
From there, the series became progressively more one-sided. PARIVISION took the third map 32–16 in 41 minutes before closing the championship with a 29–7 victory in under 37 minutes. BetBoom went from winning a controlled opener to recording only seven kills on the final map.

PARIVISION’s response after the first map is the clearest explanation for the result. They did not simply recover by finding one favorable draft. They survived the longest game of the final and then increased their control across the next two maps, leaving BetBoom less time and fewer opportunities to establish their own structure.
The deciding map also showed how widely PARIVISION distributed their impact. Satanic finished 9/2/8, No[o]ne recorded 6/1/15, and 9Class went 5/0/12. All five players contributed at least four kills, while BetBoom’s entire lineup managed seven.
That collective output prevented the final from becoming only a carry comparison. Satanic remained the main late-game threat, but PARIVISION did not need to concentrate all their resources and execution around him. No[o]ne, Noticed, 9Class and Dukalis consistently supplied enough initiation, damage and follow-up to keep BetBoom reacting across the map.
PARIVISION’s route to the title
PARIVISION entered the playoffs after finishing the group stage 9–1 in maps. They then swept Rune Eaters 2–0, defeated Team Yandex 2–1 in the semifinal and recovered from the opening loss against BetBoom to win the grand final. Their only map defeats throughout the event came against Team Spirit, Team Yandex and BetBoom.
That path gave the title more weight than the final score alone suggests. PARIVISION eliminated the tournament’s strongest underdog run, defeated a Team Yandex lineup that had swept defending champions Team Spirit, and then stopped BetBoom during their cleanest stretch of the event.
BetBoom had won six consecutive maps in the elimination stages before the final. They beat LGD Gaming, Nigma Galaxy and Vici Gaming 2–0 without dropping a map, while also finishing the group stage at 8–2. PARIVISION therefore did not capitalize on an opponent already struggling for form. They broke down a team that had looked increasingly stable as the tournament progressed.

The decisive feature of PARIVISION’s title run was their ability to win through different match states. They dominated several earlier opponents, adapted through a close semifinal against Team Yandex and recovered after losing the first map of the grand final.
The 62-minute second map was the central test. Once PARIVISION survived it, their control became increasingly visible: the third map reduced BetBoom’s fighting output, while the fourth removed almost every route back into the series.
BetBoom proved that PARIVISION could be beaten in a controlled opening game. What they could not do was repeat that control after the champions adjusted. PARIVISION’s response affected the entire series rather than only the next draft, which separated them from the other contenders at EWC.
The title completes one of the tournament’s most consistent runs. PARIVISION lost only three maps across the event and finished by winning three in a row against a finalist that had not dropped a playoff map before the grand final.
PARIVISION leave Paris as EWC 2026 champions, with BetBoom Team in second place, Team Yandex third and Vici Gaming fourth. The tournament featured 24 teams and a $2 million prize pool, with the grand final played as the only Bo5 of the playoff bracket.
