ESSENCE I’s group stage delivered several key results: Nigma Galaxy beat Team Nemesis 2–0 and moved to 3–0, PlayTime defeated 1win Team 2–1, Yellow Submarine edged MOUZ 2–1, and MOUZ later swept Nemiga Gaming 2–0. The online event runs from May 2 to 11 with a $100,000 prize pool.
Fishman stands in for Nemiga
Dmitry “Fishman” Polishchuk will represent Nemiga Gaming at ESSENCE I in place of Daniil “VaniLLl” Sokolov. Nemiga said Fishman will play until the end of the event, while the reason for the substitution was not specified.
Winter Wyvern ultimate bug fixed
A Dota 2 bug affecting Winter Wyvern’s Winter’s Curse has been fixed, according to Team Spirit analyst Denis “sikle” Lerman. The issue previously prevented the ultimate from being extended by illusions and creeps.
